We can only succeed in our mission by leading the projects we undertake within performance, time and cost. We consequently have a ‘‘Quality’’ mission and we believe that our customers are the authority in deciding whether we are living up to our core purpose.
Our customers are consequently the judge of our Quality output and their perception of our ‘‘offerings’’ is of utmost importance. We need to continuously monitor our deliverables as against their expectations. However, even though Quality is dictated by our customers, there is a lower limit of Quality below which we shall not operate. This lower level shall always be governed by the higher of:
- » The legislation in force in the country where the product will be in operation or the service
- conducted.
- » Our internal Quality standard which ensures that out products are reliable and fit for purpose
- (based on sound engineering principles and practice and our responsibility vis-à-vis the society at large)
Any person (whether it be customer, employee, supplier or subcontractor) who might misguide us in operating at a lower level than the lower acceptance limit shall not deserve to be considered as a stakeholder of the company. Our core value of integrity, loyalty and honesty should guide us in those principles.
On the other hand, there is no upper limit to the level of Quality we should provide. Our customer’s needs and expectations will drive improvements in the Quality of our products, systems and processes. We shall continue to develop a quality culture within the organisation. Doing things right the first time to create value at the least cost shall become the norm in order to exceed the expectations of our customers.
